About B2 Architecture + Design

You can learn a lot about a person by where they choose to live. We know people want spaces that reflect their locale and lifestyle yet offer something they haven’t seen elsewhere. At B2 Architecture + Design, we design with choice in mind – because your space should tell your story, not your designer’s.

For over a decade, we’ve collaborated with clients to help shape the stories they want to tell through built space. With our commitment to great design and world-class service, we’ve created more than 70 unique spaces in Texas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Washington —and had tons of fun along the way.

From the very first meeting to the final installation, we love what we do – and we’re told it shows in our work. After all, creating enjoyable living spaces takes a team of pros who truly enjoy the process. At B2 Architecture + Design, we don’t believe in cookie cutter developments or one-size-fits-all approaches. Partner with us for architectural interior design, space-planning, furniture selection and/or procurement and the result will be an uncommon new space that offers a one-of-a-kind living experience.

B. Allison Brooks, AIA
Founder, Owner, Architect, Designer

A true exemplar of Texas’ enterprising spirit, Allison is an entrepreneur, a businesswoman, a visionary architect, and a designer in her own right. Allison’s discerning style and magnetic disposition are key to B2’s success. Her passion for keeping her team challenged and fulfilled in equal measure leads to frequent adventures (think neighborhood bike ride or all-team spin class) and spontaneous outings (think fabulous hotels, eateries or other local favorites). As the company’s captain and fearless leader, her treasured team would follow her into fire and back — or at least down a long stretch of the Trinity Trail in heels in high summer as long as her beloved dog Birdie is in tow.

Allison graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architecture. She honed her skills in the Chicago area at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and A. Epstein & Sons and Good, Fulton & Farrell Architects in Dallas where she met many developers who still bear the dual distinction of friend and client.

In 2007, Allison founded B2 Architecture + Design. A life-long learner and teacher, Allison serves as a mentor for The Real Estate Council, although she’ll tell you she learns just as much as she teaches from this experience. Allison is also involved in starting The Hockaday Real Estate group which serves to assist fellow alumni and current students interested in the real estate profession.

When not in the office, Allison enjoys the great outdoors … well, from a patio somewhere in Oak Cliff or Palm Springs with a martini in one hand and her baby girl in the other. Her husband, Jeff Tucker, is sure to be close by refreshing the olives.

Gale Nall, RID
Creative Director

Gale Nall serves as B2’s Hospitality Studio Director, bringing more than 21 years of hospitality design experience to the team. She was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, and upon graduating high school she moved North to attend the University of Oklahoma where she received dual degrees in Interior Design and Art History. Her passion for art and design was seen early in life—as a child she remembers rearranging furniture and accessories at home, painting walls, and drawing floorplans.

Although a Texan at heart, her love for hospitality design took her East (Far East) to Shanghai and Hong Kong for five years to design hotels and casinos. Her previous experiences gave her the chance to hone her skills even more and allowed her the opportunity to work on many historic projects, including two in her back yard that she’s immensely proud of—The Statler and The National.

When Gale is not creating inspiring design, you can find her getting inspired through her many travels. She also loves spending time outdoors gardening and hiking and never turns down a chance to hit up any (and all) music related events.

Stephanie Hopkins
Strategic Growth Director

Stephanie’s journey from Texas to London, New York, and finally back to Austin is unique and full of diverse experiences! Starting with a business degree and then transitioning into interior design shows adaptability and a willingness to pursue her passion.  Working in hospitality design in New York brought opportunities to contribute to well-known projects like Journey East Hampton and so many others.

Her role as the Moxy brand champion at Marriott in DC provided valuable insights into branding and hospitality. And now, settling back in Austin with her family sounds like a fulfilling next chapter. Stephanie brings a rich tapestry of experiences to B2.

Jimmy Young, NCIDQ, RID
Senior Design Manager

Jimmy Young serves as B2’s Senior Design Manager based in our Miami Beach office, bringing more than 16 years of hospitality design experience to the team. Jimmy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and upon graduating high school he wasn’t quite sure what he wanted to do so took some time, traveled, waited tables and just enjoyed life for a while. Once he realized that wasn’t an optimal career choice for him, he went to SMU with plans of going to law school. While he thoroughly enjoyed all of the reading and writing a history degree requires, it was not enough to satisfy his creative outlet and desire to travel and experience the vast array of culture and design the world has to offer. After SMU, he took some more time off to travel and explore and realized that interior design was more than just a hobby, but a passion.

After graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas, he jumped right into hospitality design. With years of extensive travel and living in Asia and Europe, Jimmy brings a unique and detailed perspective of design in luxury hotels, resorts and F&B venues.

Christine Clark Witz, RID
Project Manager

Christine, Project Manager, and has long admired the established culture and quality of work that has become part of the rich fabric of B2.  A graduate of Baylor, Interior Design, and a world traveler, Christine recently spent time in Israel, a standout trip of her lifetime - blending her love of nature, faith and history.  She loves to both appreciate and create art, from taking an oil painting class to building her own bed frame and side tables.  You can find her on a Saturday morning stepping out of a yoga class and on her way to grab a smoothie and relax with her dog, Sawyer.  We hear she is not to be messed with when it comes to Grease (the movie) trivia, lyrics and moves - and we know she takes the same expert approach to bringing out the best of every project she encounters.

Brandi Meyers, RID
Project Manager

Brandi joined B2 as a Project Manager, in the Summer of 2021. An early interest in design was surely sparked at a young age and when it came to choosing a career, she always knew that Interior Design was the path she wanted to take. Starting her design experience in high-end residential Kitchen & Bath design in Chicago, Illinois, Brandi made her way back to Texas in 2013, where she went to work in Multi-Family, Senior Living, and Student Housing and looks forward to continuing her career as part of the B2 team.

She can often be heard talking about the “endless opportunity for creativity” that Interior Design allows. From researching and developing the conceptual design to coordinating drawings and selecting finishes, she is always ready to embrace new design challenges and opportunities. Brandi strives to make sure no detail is overlooked with the goal of creating an enjoyable design process for her clients, but also a unique living experience for future residents.

Proudly known as Auntie B, Brandi enjoys spending time with her precious nieces and family. After hours, she can also be found volunteering for Hope Kids North Texas, enjoying whatever hobby she is currently into, or traveling with her boyfriend, Ryan, and Labrador, Arthur.

Whitney Prescia, RID
Design Manager

A Colorado native and now a proud Texan at heart, Whitney is a constant traveler and self-starter. At the tender age of 17, she started her own cleaning service and managed everything from new business to bookkeeping. Her relationship to detailing interiors evolved when she renovated one of her father’s rental properties. While the transformation brought great satisfaction, she quickly realized she’d rather be the one spearheading design as opposed to the one repairing drywall and restoring wood floors.

Whitney’s skillset and experience lies primarily in multifamily and high-end residential, though she’s happy designing everything and anything. Her sensibility and passion for design is informed by her love of travel, adventure and discovery.

Whitney comes to B2 after living in London where she worked as a designer. In her free time she’s likely digging for treasure at local vintage shops or exploring new territory with her dog, Jasper. She enjoys a good IPA and is currently on the hunt for her favorite Chicago spot.

Lindsey Dorn, RID
Project Manager

Lindsey Dorn serves as a Project Manager at B2 Architecture + Design. She’s a tried-and-true Texan born and raised in Arlington, TX. Despite her best efforts, she never strayed far from home. This Horned Frog studied Design and Chemistry at TCU—and after graduating, she quenched her creative thirst and dove headfirst into Hospitality Interior Design. She hasn’t looked back since, and in the 10+ years that Lindsey has spent in the industry, she’s worked on luxury resorts and boutique hotels across the globe.

After she’s finished meticulously documenting public spaces and guest rooms, you’ll find Lindsey getting lost in her favorite part of the design process—all things FF&E. She also lives for designing custom furniture. When she’s not at the office you can find her roaming the aisles at Calloway’s for her next set of plants, pulling weeds in her garden, running around Arlington, or getting her “zen” on in her yoga practice. She’s also obsessed with her cats; she has four and is working to find the perfect number five.

lindsey@b2architecture.com

Mandy Lindsey
Project Manager

Mandy is a born and raised Texan. She was bit by the design bug in the most unlikely of places—a hospital. She spent most of her time growing up inside hospitals because her mother worked in them, and it wasn’t until she toured a brand-new facility that she realized the influence that the design of a space can have on an individual. “The idea that color, proportion, balance and all of the other elements and principles of design can take a cold, unwelcoming environment such as a hospital, and make it feel welcoming and warm is exactly what drove me to interior design.”

Today, Mandy especially enjoys the challenge that comes with hospitality design—namely, the complexity of the different room types and the puzzle pieces that need to fit together to make the finished product come together perfectly.

She graduated from Baylor University, and when she’s not at work Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children exploring zoos, swimming, and snuggling up for family movie nights. She’s also never met a pizza she doesn’t like.

Foster Cranz
Project Manager

Foster, a native Fort Worthian and self-proclaimed “honorary New Yorker”, began her design career at age 22 with an art degree and no clue what to do with it.   After a chance meeting with her favorite painter’s art dealer, she scored her first gig in NYC as an artist’s assistant.  There she discovered an enthusiasm for architecture by constructing elaborate gingerbread houses for the artist’s still life paintings.  She spent the rest of her 20s as a creative gig-worker, with stints varying from Barney’s window display designer to personal shopper’s assistant.  Realizing a lifetime of this was too stressful, she decided to go back to school for a degree in Interior Architecture at Parsons School of Design.   From there she began her career working in high-end residential interior design in New York, and later shifted to commercial interior design in Dallas, Texas.  She has several years’ experience in Multi-Family, Office, Hospitality, Senior Living and Student Housing design.

Foster spends much of her free time indulging her creative side by painting, pattern making, and performing as a vocalist for a Big Band Jazz Ensemble.

foster@b2architecture.com

Regan Sanders, NCIDQ, RID
Project Manager

Regan, a Tennessee native, moved to Texas after completing her degree in Interior Design from Mississippi State University in 2018. She often jokes about how Design is in her blood, but it truly is. Growing up, she recalls sketching floorplans of the different rooms in her home and going to the fabric stores with her grandmother, an Interior Designer and professor of Design at Ole Miss. She also grew up learning about architecture and landscape architecture from her uncles.

After graduating from MSU, she moved to Texas to pursue Hospitality Design and quickly learned that her good eye and knack for creativity made her poised for all aspects of the Design world. Regan sees the importance of trying new things and her career speaks for that. She has expertise in Retail, Hospitality, Workplace, and Multifamily Design.

When she’s not working, you can find Regan with her fluffy sidekick on a patio drinking coffee while working on her Children’s books or planning her next road trip. She also serves the design community through IIDA and is a mentor to high school and college students.

Cara Clapper
Project Manager

As B2’s Project Manager based in our Chicago office, Cara brings over 9 years’ experience working in the Student Housing and Multifamily industry on the development side. Her responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the interior design process from concept through project completion as an Owner’s Representative which brings a unique perspective to her projects today at B2.

Cara grew up in the Chicago area and enjoyed cross country in high school. She ran the Chicago marathon and many half marathons, but admits that walking Holly, her Springer Doodle is more her speed these days.

Adam Jefferson
Designer

When Adam began his studies to become a dentist at Western Kentucky University, one biology class helped him quickly realize dentistry was not for him. Recalling his favorite childhood memories building Legos and playing The Sims, his degree in Interior Design seemed inevitable. An east coast native, Adam has lived in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Florida, and recently started his newest adventure in Illinois. Great hair may be his most recognizable feature, but Adam is known best by his free-spirited and congenial personality. After one conversation, it will feel like you’ve known each other for ages.

Although Adam does not currently have a pet, he celebrates his title as the fun uncle to all his friend’s pets. Once settled into Chicago, there may be a Rottweiler with a diva complex in his future. In his free time, you can find Adam at an elevated casual restaurant with a dirty martini in hand surrounded by good conversation and laughter or out exploring the neighborhoods of Chicago admiring the unique architecture and design to inspire him on his next project.

Sophie Leming
Designer

You could say that Sophie was born with a passion for design. Growing up in a family brimmed with talented designers, it has always been meant to be for her. Her childhood was marked by endless bedroom makeovers and marathon sessions of playing Sims until the sun came up.

One of her fondest memories was a trip to Italy, which holds a special place in her heart as a favorite travel destination. The art, culture, and architecture there left an indelible impression on her. And a glass of wine with some pasta? That’s her go-to. It doesn't have to be fancy; just good food and good company is all she needs!

Sophie is excited to continue her creative journey here at B2 as a project designer and bring fresh, innovative ideas to every project she touches.  She was so drawn to B2 that she couldn't resist joining not once but twice!

Paola Lazarus
Designer

Paola rejoined B2 Architecture + Design as a Studio Designer in 2022. She originally joined the B2 team immediately upon college graduation from TCU, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Illumination Design and Engineering. A native of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Paola knew at a young age that she was destined to work in the design field—she spent endless hours building cities and homes as she played the computer game Sims. After her first stint at B2, Paola headed north to New York City where she worked on the Tom Ford Beauty retail store design team for the Estee Lauder Companies. She also worked as a Retail Store Project Manager for Le Labo, By Kilian, Frederic Malle, Jo Malone, and La Mer.

We were lucky enough to lure Paola back to B2 as a part-time/contract worker in early 2022, and now she works full-time from her home in Honduras. When she’s not creating meaningful spaces with inspiring design, you can find Paola traveling as much as possible, escaping to the beautiful Honduras beaches, or attending another one of her friend’s weddings.

paola@b2architecture.com

Theresa Lloyd
Designer

A long way from her home in Nashville, Tennessee, Theresa joined the B2 team to pursue her love for interiors and design a better tomorrow. This Middle Tennessee State Alum began her career exploring the worlds of both commercial and residential design. While her prior experience establishes the quality of her work, Theresa’s spontaneous nature pushes her to create bold and daring spaces. She finds multi-family design with B2 to be the perfect outlet.

In her free time, Theresa’s outgoing personality typically has her out discovering Dallas hangout spots and befriending every new face she meets. You can always find this project coordinator at a live music venue or enjoying a good happy hour/ brunch. Like her social life, Theresa believes interior design should be soulful, saying, “Interior Design is a tool of communication. And the most enjoyable conversations...simply flow, cheers”.

Kalyn Clark, RID
Interior Designer

Since the age of 11, Kalyn knew she wanted a career in interior design, so selecting her major wasn’t a very difficult decision. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 with a Bachelor of Interior Design, and a minor in Spanish. Her college internship involved a lot of beige government healthcare projects, which led her to crave something more for my career, leading her to Dallas.

She has worked on a variety of different project types including Hospitality, Corporate and Multifamily, and Residential. Through all of this, she quickly realized her passion for Hospitality design and feels very fortunate to be working alongside other talented designers. Creating spaces that people will experience and remember fills her with a great sense of fulfillment.

When she’s not at work, you can find Kalyn out in nature, at the movies or a concert, or exploring art and architecture (which she can spend a lot more time doing, after recently passing her NCIDQ exams). Kalyn often travels back to her hometown of Norman, OK to recharge her battery with her family. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and dog.

kalyn@b2architecture.com

Brooke Pogue, NCIDQ, RID
Interior Designer

A true Mississippi native, Brooke brings 5 years of hospitality experience designing boutique hotels to B2 as an Interior Designer. Although she began her studies in Fashion Merchandising, her father, a professional draftsman, would tell you Interior Design has been in her blood since day one.

Brooke loves all the details in design and can make a space come together by the fine details most people do not notice quickly. The details that make you take a second look and really admire a space!

On a typical Saturday, you can find Brooke running Katy Trail training for her next marathon before taking her Cavelier King Charles Spaniel, Finn, to the dog park, with an iced matcha latte in hand.

Anjelica Achterhof
Interior Design Coordinator

Anjelica was born in the California Bay Area and grew up in Waco, Texas. She found her love for interior design at a young age when drawing bedroom plans for herself with purple walls and custom furniture designs. In high school she attended a summer pre-college course at New York School of Interior Design and found her life’s calling.

After graduating from Baylor University, Anjelica worked at Charter Furniture of Dallas, designing model apartments and leasing centers before she found her way to B2. Her specialty is creating functional and beautiful spaces focused on community living. Anjelica is passionate about the environment and her dream is to design her own line of sustainable furnishings one day.

Her interests include trying new restaurants, learning about the history of architecture & design, longboarding, French music, and creating art.

Laura Tricoli 10.1.21.png

Laura Tricoli
Interior Design Coordinator

B2’s Interior Design Coordinator, Laura Tricoli, is excited about creating designs that tell a story and enhance daily living.  After nearly a decade of teaching English to middle and high school students, Laura became a student again herself, pursuing a lifelong passion for Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Laura is excited to start her design career among the collaborative and experienced designers of B2.

Laura loves to travel and finds much of her inspiration in learning about the architecture, food, and experiences of other cultures. Her favorite trips so far have been to Australia, Italy, London, and Mexico. On the weekends, you can find Laura playing with her dogs Hudson and Dane, exploring her favorite Dallas neighborhoods, or baking something delicious.

Marianna Dudgeon
Interior Design Coordinator

As an Interior Design Coordinator at B2, Marianna Walls enjoys exploring the heart of Dallas to inspire her work and expand her knowledge of interior design with each new encounter. She thrives on the complexity of the human experience and enjoys giving individualism to each project.

Marianna grew up on a Christmas tree farm where she credits her work ethic and love for people. She studied at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia spending her weekends traveling to the smokey mountains. She still visits the mountains when she can. She loves traveling, nature, hiking, a good coffee shop, and investing in her friends and family.

Carmen Solano
Interior Design Coordinator

A recent graduate of Miami University with a BFA in Interior Design, Carmen left the Midwest to embark on a new adventure in Chicago. While unsure about her decision to leave her closest friends and family, she is loving her new life in the city.

She developed her passion for design at a young age after watching her dad work with interior designers to rebrand and redesign retail pizza shops. Since then, she can’t help but walk into a room and envision how to make it better. Carmen sees each design as an opportunity to breathe life and character into space, to create an all-encompassing environment that makes every client’s vision a reality. Her eagerness to learn makes her a great asset and she is excited to be a part of the B2 team.

When she is not studying for the NCIDQ exam. Carmen spends her free time going on long walks, hunting down vintage furniture, and sharing a homemade meal and a glass of wine with her boyfriend.

Avery Nowosielski
Interior Design Coordinator

Avery grew up around Ann Arbor Michigan where her family had a LOT of pets including horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and sheep. Taking care of those animals kept her busy as a child, and, no doubt, had a hand in honing her multi-tasking abilities which come in handy today.

Avery earned her degree in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, where she met her closest friends and fell in love with all the concerts, festivals, and food scenes (to name a few). Moving to Chicago had always been Avery’s dream, so after graduating she packed up her belongings and hit the road to make her new homebase and “workbase” in the Windy City.

Having lived in Michigan, Ohio, and now Illinois, Avery feels like “the queen of the Midwest.” In her free time, you’ll find her gardening, going to coffee shops, cooking, and taking care of her two dogs, Billie and Burt.

avery@b2architecture.com

Lexie Campbell
Interior Design Coordinator

Lexie made her journey from Philadelphia to Texas shortly after college, lured by the sunny weather to match her sunny disposition. She was bitten by the design bug at young age, but an interior design class in high school sealed the deal and sent her on her way to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her degree in Interior Design. With a design background focused in multifamily, she thrives on adding a personal touch to every space.

Outside of work, you will find Lexie exploring Dallas and hanging out with friends. Her favorite is laying poolside with something on the grill, but she can never turn down a great patio - especially when margaritas are involved. Being the only girl with three brothers, Lexie is highly competitive and finds her outlet for recreational kickball and golfing. You will be able to find her “dawg” Bailey not too far behind (and likely her roommate Kirsten next to her).

lexie@b2architecture.com

Kirsten Dawn
Designer

Kirsten joined B2 in October 2022, and even though she was a new face, it felt like she had been a member of the team since day one. Her enthusiasm for life is equal to her passion for design—both of which shine through constantly in all she does in both her personal and professional lives. Kirsten is Canadian by blood and birth and North Texan at heart—having spent the better part of young-adulthood living in the DFW area. That said, she never misses a chance to travel back to the homeland to visit her family (all of which still live in Canada).

Kirsten graduated from the University of North Texas in 2019 with two BFA’s in Interior design and Studio Art with an Emphasis in Sculpture. She kept the creativity flowing throughout her years in college by working as a production designer on short film sets in college where she designed the set, costumes, and makeup, and was also a cookie decorator. Kirsten knew she was destined for a creative career as a young child—her dream was to be an architect and design buildings, but as she grew older, she quickly realized that she loved the personal touch of creating unique wholistic environments and human centered design—landing her in Interior Design.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Kirsten poolside on a nice summer day, traveling or planning her next trip, starting a new creative project, baking / decorating cakes, and hanging out with her friends.

Lauren Brewer.jpg

Lauren Brewer, RID
Business Development/Marketing Manager

It’s true what they say...if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.

That’s how Lauren feels about her job at B2. Interior design is what she does for a living, yes, but it’s also her primary passion. Looking back, a career in interior design was clearly meant to be. As a child, she spent her time finger painting on printer paper, and sold her masterpieces to neighbors as custom wallpaper samples.

Born and raised in Oklahoma and an Oklahoma State University alum (Go Pokes!), Lauren grew up working in her dad’s optometry practice. Although her impressive array of ocular knowledge has proven useful, she now prefers to share her expertise of the field where we’re so glad she ultimately landed. Lauren’s interior design career started with a brief stint in residential before discovering her passion for multi-family, student housing, and senior living where she excels at B2 today.

Not only does she take pride in being a self-proclaimed “burger connoisseur”, but also being part of a firm that creates unique, edgy designs that sets themselves apart in the industry.

When Lauren is at home, she enjoys playing in the backyard with her pup, Bogey, or grabbing brunch with her boyfriend with a crisp cider in hand.

Colleen Douty, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Colleen is B2’s Chief Financial Officer who finds pure joy in process improvements, creating efficiencies and insuring financial stability and profitability for B2.

Colleen’s love of logic and order likely stems from her military upbringing, which, no doubt, groomed her to serve as a precision counterpoint in an otherwise creative office. She and her husband are recent “empty nesters”—but she still lives in a bustling household full of animals ranging from dogs and cats to frogs, birds, and fish.

When she’s not immersed in numbers, Colleen’s happy place is in her garden pulling weeds, taking weekend trips with her husband, or—if she has longer, she’ll be off the grid (literally) scuba diving at points near and far. Her favorite dive to date is Okinawa, Japan.

Johnathon Laux
Controller

Johnathon, originally hailing from just outside the vibrant city of New Orleans, has settled in Dallas and serves as the Controller at B2. His journey to this role has been quite an adventure, starting from childhood dreams of becoming an NBA player to finding his niche in the financial realm.

Outside of the office, he and his wife recently welcomed their daughter, Charlotte (or Charlie for short), into the world, adding a whole new dimension to their lives. While parenting is his latest hobby, Johnathon also enjoys gardening, biking, and perfecting his pizza-making skills.  He is also an avid sports fan with a particular passion for soccer, basketball, and football.

Though adjusting to life in Dallas has had its challenges (hello, traffic!), his family has embraced the change and are loving every moment of their new chapter in this bustling city.

Anesu Mugwagwa
Senior Accountant

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Anesu came to America 11 years ago to reunite with her family.

A Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate of UT Dallas (Go Comets, Whoosh!), she comes from a family of Accountants.  She has worked in the Not-for-profit world since graduation and is excited to work in the Architectural side of things with more Accounting responsibilities. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for this number’s guru—her mother just recently passed her CPA Board exam—so clearly making sure that the math makes sense is her “thing.”

Anesu brought her talents to B2, where she’s a multi-tasking genius—showing her strengths not only in Accounting but also in purchasing and being one of B2’s leading cheerleaders.

Outside of the office, you can find Anesu in downtown Dallas area with her photographer taking Fashion pictures, going out for brunch with friends, or at Klyde Warren Park with her daughter, Melanie. In addition, she loves cooking traditional Zimbabwean food and traveling. In fact, she has a goal of traveling to every state and every country on the planet.

Anesu has a desire of giving back to her native country, Zimbabwe. She has put her gently used clothes and shoes aside so she can take them back to the underprivileged people in Zimbabwe. Anesu also has a strong desire to donate medical supplies to village hospitals and clinics in her native country. “As a strong advocate for Mental health, I am very family-oriented, but I don’t undermine the importance of self-care time; I believe in always giving yourself some grace.”

On a personal note, as a young man, he dreamed of becoming a car salesman, for the sole purpose of test-driving all the new cars! Who wouldn’t enjoy such a job?

In Steven’s downtime, you can catch him checking out the latest culinary delights at local restaurants and breweries or catching an action-packed movie like "Lethal Weapon". Don't be fooled by his tough exterior though; he's also into arts and crafts, whipping up delightful homemade candles.

With his trusty Goldendoodle, Drake, by his side, Steven is living life in the fast lane, with a dash of elegance and a sprinkle of adventure. What a great addition he is to the B2 Team!

Jennifer Kinnebrew
Procurement Coordinator

Born and raised in the heart of Dixie, Jennifer is a Louisiana girl at heart. She enjoys all things Cajun… Mardi Gras, jambalaya, Zydeco music, and crawfish boils. One of her favorite Cajun French sayings sums up her view on life “Laissez le bons temps rouler!”

After graduating college with a degree in Elementary Education, Jennifer left her beloved Louisiana for the Great State of Texas and made a new home in the Lone Star State. She’s spent the past 23 years, first as a classroom teacher, then as the Chaos Coordinator of her husband, two children and four dogs. As Jennifer volunteered in various roles over these two decades, she grew and developed a myriad of soft skills that allowed her opportunities to coordinate and lead different teams, projects, and events to successful ends. What she learned during this time is serving her well in her new role at B2 Architecture + Design.

In her spare time, Jennifer can be seen pounding out a few miles on her treadmill, spending time on her family’s houseboat, packing bags of food for distribution to needy children and their families, and reading the best-selling Book of all time.

Shane McCarthy
Procurement Agent

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Shane put her roots down in Texas after graduating from Texas Christian University. After a few years in Dallas as a Procurement Agent she is now back in Horned Frog Country with her fiancé, Pryor, and tuxedo cat, Eloise.

Shane has recently taken up the sport of pickleball where she joins friends for a weekly game during happy hour, heavy emphasis on the happy hour.

When she’s not at her computer or next to a pickleball court, Shane spends her time baking – cookies, brownies, bread, or her favorite, homemade pasta – trying to emulate food from her favorite destination, Florence, Italy.

She is not one to shy away from hard work and enjoys finding solutions in collaboration with her colleagues.

She relishes the opportunity to be one of B2’s first full-time remote employees, which allows her to keep close ties to Dallas, where she was born and raised.
